DAYTON - Emory E. Hanson, 89, of Dayton, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at his home.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 20, 2012, at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Dayton. Pastor Arhiana Shek will officiate. Burial will be in the Dayton Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Carson Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton.
Survivors include his wife Imogene of Dayton; four children, Earl (Georgene) Hanson of Dayton, Kathy (Roger) Taylor of Fort Dodge, Karen (Doug) Hahn of Cedar Falls, and Marlan (Deb) Hanson of Harcourt; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Loretta Hansen of Carroll.
