To the editor:
Words cannot express our appreciation for the service provided for us at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge. Our husband/dad, Lauren Gustafson, passed from this life there from complications of a stroke suffered on June 9. The staff went out of their way to assist us when we needed them.
The facility is also first class in the way that it is designed. The rooms allowed us to congregate with family and friends those last days we had with him. We were free to use the kitchen for meals anytime we needed it. Thanks again to the nurses and staff for the excellent care provided. We all hope that we won't need to use an organization like this, but if that time comes, there is no better place.
