POCAHONTAS - Harlan "Butch" Elbert, age 76, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012, at the Pocahontas Community Hospital in Pocahontas, Iowa.
Funeral services are 10:30 AM Monday, July 16, 2012, at the Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church in Pocahontas, Iowa with Fr. Paul Bormann officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Pocahontas, Iowa, with military rites by the AMVETS. Visitation is from 4-7 PM Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Powers Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Ia.
