B. J. Thomas, 65, of Ft. Dodge, died on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Ft. Dodge. Funeral services will be held on Mon. July 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Larson-Weishaar Funeral Home in Manson with Bishop Terry Dillon officiating. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Elkhorn Lutheran Cemetery in Elkhorn, IA.
B. J. is survived by his wife Lori; children Brent (Jessica) Thomas, Emily (Josh) Smith, Chad (Courtney) Maas, Kyle (April) Maas; grandchildren Katelyn, Jared, Raegan, Andrew, Grant, Blake, Grady, Eli, Brynlee; brothers Mike Thomas, Jon (Sherri) Thomas, Paul (Kim) Thomas, Karl (Connie) Thomas; sisters Debbie (Gary) Petersen, Janet Andrus; brothers-in-law Tim (Pat) Lange, Bruce (Darcia) Lange; mother and father-in-law Russell and Joan Lange. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Kirk Andrus.
