It is with pride that we share a July 4 experience.
While recently visiting Lake Superior's south shore, at the suggestion of a friend my husband and I attended the municipal band holiday performance in Ashland, Wis. It was a most enjoyable beginning to a wonderful evening celebrating of our country
When the Ashland City Band director introduced their next selection, "The Viking" by Karl King, Steve and I felt huge hometown pride. It's so wonderful to experience that Karl King is respected and honored beyond our local municipal band. How fortunate we are to have his legacy continue both locally and throughout the United States. Another reason to have pride in Fort Dodge
