To the editor:
The Webster County Fair is today through Sunday. Everyone come out and enjoy the fun. As a parent I know how rewarding it is to the 4-H'ers to share their experiences of their work with what they do.
Many people think 4-H is for farm kids. Well, wrong answer. Without 4-H my daughter wouldn't be where she is heading today in life.
It isn't just the kids, it is the people and family and friends who make them work hard. Thanks to the leaders and parents and whoever else is involved and thank you to the judges and the great Linda Cline, who goes above and beyond for these kids to have a fair. So, when you're out and about and don't have anything to do July 11 to 15 stop out check out the fair. Without the county fair these kids couldn't go to the State Fair as many from our county do.
