FARNHAMVILLE - Veda M. Kail, age 92, passed away Wed- nesday, June 27, 2012 at Paula J. Baber Hospice Home, Fort Dodge after suffering a stroke. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 2nd at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Farnhamville with Pastor Robert Zellmer officiating.Burial wll be in Reading Township Cemetery, Farnhamville.Friends may call after 5 p.m. Sunday, July 1st at the Palmer Funeral Home, Gowrie.
Survivors include her daughters Sheryl Johnson of Pueblo West, Colorado and Caroyl Osborne of Bentonville, Arkansas, grandson Cory Johnson, Highlands Ranch, Colorado; grandaughters Tiffany Haas, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Tabatha Osborne, San Francisco, California; step-grandson Michael Osborne of Bentonville, Arkansas, Michele Osborne of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; six great-granchildren, and two step great-grandchildren.
Veda M. McCubbin was born April 12, 1920 near. Slifer, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Herman Kail, August 20, 1944 and they made their home in Farnhamville, Iowa. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she participated in Ladies Aid, Helping Hands Circle, and taught Sunday School for 43 years. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Steward Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Non-Ame Club, and Senior Citizens. She loved little children, working in her yard, cooking, playing cards, and frequently visited local nursing homes.
