ALGONA - The St. Edmond softball team earned their fourth consecutive victory Wednesday night, defeating Algona 14-3 in six innings.
The Gaels (18-8 overall, 12-3 in North Central Conference) have won six of seven games overall.
Josie Heesch belted another home run, while Allie Oberg was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate.
"We did a great job finding our pitch and running the bases," SEHS head coach Paul Hunt said. "We were able to keep our momentum going because of our speed on the bases.
"When we have had big scoring nights, it has a lot to do with our baserunning."
Timmi Dencklau, Heesch, Katy Bocken and Cassie Sells all had two hits each.
