Weather permitting, beginning Monday, the Traffic Safety Department will be begin lane striping on the streets in the following areas:
Fifth Street Northwest from Hawkeye Avenue to city limit
North Seventh Street from Seventh Avenue North to city limit
Twenty-second Street from 15th Avenue South to 25th Avenue North
Second Avenue North from 12th Street to 32nd Street
Tenth Avenue North from 22nd Street to city limit
The painting will take place from 4 a.m. until noon each day. It is anticipated this work will last through Friday. During this time, motorists and pedestrians are asked to be aware of the delineators and signs noting the wet paint areas. Drivers are asked to avoid driving on the wet paint.
