The second person convicted for a pizza theft has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to charges relating to the incident.
Lennox VanVector, 19, was sentenced to 19 years in prison last week. He had pleaded guilty to third-degree theft, forgery by credit card, first-degree theft and assault while participating in a felony.
The charges come from an incident in January. On Jan. 24, VanVector and Roy Sanchez stole a debit card from a Fort Dodge home and later used it at Walmart.
Two days later, VanVector and Sanchez ordered a pizza from Community Tap. When the delivery man arrived, VanVector and Sanchez took the pizza from him.
Both suspects were caught a few days after the incident.
Sanchez was sentenced on May 25 to 18 years in prison for his role in the crime.
