Weather permitting, beginning today at 7 a.m., until work is completed, both lanes of Eighth Avenue North between North 24th and 25th streets will be closed to through traffic. The city of Fort Dodge will be performing a sewer repair on Eighth Avenue North. Detours will be posted. Motorists are urged to use alternative routes.
