LAURENS - State Rep. Tom Shaw, R-Laurens, has been endorsed by the Iowa Farm Bureau Political Action Committee.
''Rep. Shaw has earned this designation as a Friend of Agriculture because he has a voting record of strong support for issues important to farmers and rural Iowans,'' Rod Collins, the chairman of the organization, said in a written statement.
Shaw faces Maison Bleam, of Twin Lakes, in the June 5 Republican primary election.
They are vying to represent House District 10, which includes Calhoun, Humboldt and Pocahontas counties plus western Webster County. There are no Democratic candidates in that district.
