To the editor:
It is poppy time again. Dates are May 24 and May 25. These poppies are made by the veterans in Marshalltown. The American Legion Units of Iowa promote the sale of poppies in honor of the men and women who gave up their time and many times their lives for their country. On a continuous basis we contribute to the veterans home and hospital.
Help American Legion Auxiliary Unit 130 by contributing to our poppy campaign.
