ALGONA - The Algona Area Children's Chorus is now holding auditions for children entering fourth, fifth, sixth, or seventh grade in the fall of 2012, who enjoy singing and would like to perform with singers from Kossuth, Palo Alto and Humboldt counties. The choir meets once a week from early September until the end of April. Performance opportunities include two local concerts, a mini-tour of area schools in the spring, performing at area churches and basketball games, attending the Midwest Children's Choral Festival in Ames and the opportunity to audition for OPUS Honor Choir.
