Back by popular demand, Farm News will produce its third volume of Iowa Farm Life, a coffee table book containing our readers' photos depicting farm life and rural living from early days in Iowa to present times.
The first volume was published in 2005, volume two in 2008 and volume three is scheduled for November. Photos will be packaged in a hardcover book that will be for sale through Farm News.
To assemble this volume, Farm News is seeking farm life family photos from our 33-county coverage area. Submissions should be made no later than July 6. Each photo submitted should:
Include a typed or legible written description including names.
A self-addressed, stamped envelope, to include mailing address to return photos to owners.
Photos may be submitted at the Farm News office at 713 Central Ave., Fort Dodge, to be scanned - ask for Jana; or emailed with descriptions to firstname.lastname@example.org, sent in jpeg format at 200 dpi; or through out website www.farm-news.com.
Submission does not guarantee publications. There is a limit of 10 photos per family.
This will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share your family's photos in a book that promises to become an heirloom, passed down through generations.
