The annual Christmas bird count will be Saturday.
Participants will meet at 6:30 a.m. at Tom Thumb in Fort Dodge for breakfast and instruction.
The count is in a 7-mile radius of Brushy Creek Park. Participants will tally up their counts at noon in the Prairie Resource Building at Brushy Creek for a soup lunch potluck.
Participation is open to the public. Those with any level of experience or no experience are welcome.
Feeder counts should be called in by 4 p.m. to 576-3345 or emailed to jaj6371@yahoo.com.
