Five 4-H members from Webster County received State 4-H Project recognition this summer.
Abby Peterson, Harcourt, received a State 4-H Citizenship Project Award for her helping the community; Nichole Licht, Humboldt, received a State 4-H Sheep Project award for being a junior leader in the sheep project and helping younger members with their lambs; Charlie Shelton, Duncombe, received a 4-H Citizenship Project Award for writing grants to plant trees; Sarah Rethwisch, Fort Dodge, received a State 4-H Project Communication Award for skills gained in communication; and Rebecca Nellis received a State 4-H Citizenship award for her work with the Look Good, Feel Good Program. Fifty 4-H’ers from throughout the state received this recognition. They had to submit an application and go through an interview process.
