To the editor:
Nov. 16 marked the annual observance of the National Education Support Professionals Day - a time for saluting our public school Education Support Professionals and the contribution that they make to public education. The interaction between children, parents and ESPs is vital to the continued success of public education. Today's ESPs do more than transport our children to and from school, greet children in the office, provide extra help in the classroom and keep school buildings clean and safe. They also serve as positive role models for our children. Education Support Professionals are essential partners in providing great public schools. I invite you to acknowledge these hardworking people who make a difference in the lives of children.
