To the editor:
Fort Dodge residents will aid and benefit their city by voting for City Council candidate, Kim Alstott. He is not only very competent to serve; he also cares deeply for his "hometown."
His character and integrity impressed him the first time I met and talked to him. His genuine regard and dedication for the welfare of Fort Dodge residents has been clearly shown. Kim chose to campaign for City Council one-on-one, face-to-face with his constituents by visiting nearly every home in his ward. Why would he work that hard and long? Because, to best serve them as their representative, he wanted to ask questions, get opinions, facts and discuss their concerns.
Such exhaustive door-to-door campaigning confirmed what a hard-working, responsible, and approachable, easy to talk to candidate they have.
Kim Alstott is fully qualified and capable of meeting any challenges for Fort Dodge and eager to work for positive change. He is an experienced and recognized businessman, who has had extensive experience and success in strategic planning, focused growth and financial management. In addition, Kim has had 15-plus years study, training and experience in financial counseling, and continues to keep a cutting edge regarding current economics with his extensive reading and research. His volunteering experiences serving on numerous boards, add to his overall understanding of community affairs.
Always focused on the future, his knowledge, experience and common sense logic will enable him to help guide Fort Dodge to achieve commendable successes.
I ask the responsible citizens of Ward 4 to vote for a resolute and trustworthy candidate, Kim Alstott on Tuesday.
