CLARION - There will be a benefit for Jack Conlon, 5-year-old son of Tom and Nikki Conlon of Clarion, on Nov. 13 at the Clarion-Goldfield High School. Jack was diagnosed with a very aggressive malignant brian cancer. He has recently had several surgeries, including one to remove a brain tumor. He is currently in Boston with his parents, receiving proton radiation therapy as part of his cancer treatment. The benefit will raise money to help with expenses for things not covered by insurance. A freewill donation meal will be served at 11 a.m. followed by live and silent auctions with fun and entertainment. Monetary donations made out to Jack Conlon Benefit may be sent to Security Savings Bank, First Citizens National Bank and Wells Fargo Bank, all in Clarion. To donate items for either auction, contact Vicki Boyington at 293-0223. For questions, contact Cory Abels at 293-2265.
