The annual fall Brown Bag Series sponsored by the Friends of the Library is from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday in the meeting room of the library.
The presentations is free. Coffee and juice are provided, and those who attend may bring a lunch.
Thursday's program will be "Grant Wood and Frank Lloyd Wright: Little Houses on the Prairie." Roy Behrens, a professor of art and a Distinguished Scholar at the University of Northern Iowa, will compare the personalities of Wood and Wright, both historical artists who relied on the same design principals regardless of whether the final result was a building, a painting, a stained glass window or a chair.
