HUMBOLDT - Tom Hundertmark, Thomas Jacobson and G. Marvin Lindemann, directors from Humboldt Mutual Insurance Association of Humboldt, received Farm Mutual Director Certification designations during the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies' 116th annual convention in September.

NAMIC launched the Farm Mutual Directors Certification program in 2007 to recognize farm mutual insurance company directors for their educational accomplishments and their dedication to professionalism. To become certified, a participant must be an active director of a farm mutual company, complete four courses in each of three areas - management, operations and insurance, and finance and accounting -and complete continuing education classes to maintain the designation.

Since the beginning of the program, more than 300 directors have become certified.
