October programs are:
Oct. 20: "Nutrition in a Nutshell, How to Lead a Healthy Lifestyle." Hy-Vee registered dietitian Amber Kastler will discuss a healthy lifestyle and provide tips and tricks to make healthy choices easier. She will explain how to read food labels and how to use that information.
Oct. 27: "Grant Wood and Frank Lloyd Wright: Little Houses on the Prairie." Roy Behrens, a professor of art and a Distinguished Scholar at the University of Northern Iowa, will compare the personalities of Wood and Wright, both historical artists who relied on the same design principals regardless of whether the final result was a building, a painting, a stained glass window or a chair.
