Camp Foster YMCA of the Okobojis is celebrating a century of camping at an alumni reunion party from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Willow Ridge Golf Course.
The event is free and open to anyone with a connection to Camp Foster. There will be a few speeches and a slide show, but most of the time is open for talking to others.
Camp Director Josh Carr said Camp Foster was the first YMCA camp in the state and was focused on the spiritual, mental and physical development for all ages. Harl Holt, of Fort Dodge, was a past director.
