Beginning Tuesday, community members who want to participate in the annual Wells Fargo Dress-A-Doll program can pick up one of the dolls from the bank's main Fort Dodge location.
Participants in the program are asked to create home-sewn costumes for the dolls and to return the dolls to Wells Fargo by Nov. 18 for display in the main lobby. The costumes are judged, and the dolls are then donated to local nonprofits, which give them to children as gifts for the holidays.
Ribbons are awarded for the best-dressed doll in each category, plus an overall grand prize.
Dolls may be checked out between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at Wells Fargo, 822 Central Ave.
