Laurel Anderson, of Bode, a former Peace Corps worker in Turkey, will speak at the Stonecroft Women's Connection brunch at 9 a.m. July 26 at Tea Thyme at Sadie's.

Anderson's hobby is wheat weaving, and she has raised three children alone. Her talk is called "How to Do the Impossible."
Teen violinist JoAnna Hanson, of Fort Dodge, who plays for church and has played in youth orchestras in Indiana, will perform.
This brunch is open to all women.
