The Beacon of Hope Mens Shelter and B.A.S.I.C Program (Brothers And Sisters In Christ) were the two recipients of this year’s Junior Women’s Club annual waffle breakfast proceeds. The club was able to donate $1,200 for each group. The breakfast was held on April 17 on the third floor of the Eagles Club.
Junior Women’s Club is a civic and social organization comprised of women from the Fort Dodge area 21 and older. The club gives those women the opportunity to form new friendships and network while helping to better the community. The primary fundraiser for the year is the annual community breakfast, which benefits an area charity or program in need.
