Mulroney earns leadership honors at conference

Michael Mulroney, who is finishing his junior year at Peru State College, Peru, Neb., earned honors at the 2010-2011 Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference.

Mulroney, who is studying business administration: human performance and systems management, with a minor in criminal justice, earned the following individual honors: first place in justice administration, third place in statistical analysis and sixth place in macroeconomics. In addition, he and Mallory Lempka earned first place in the team events in business ethics.

The conference was held in Kearney, Neb. Top finishers, including Mulroney, will compete at the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Fla., in June.

On April 28, Mulroney was elected vice president of Phi Beta Lambda for the upcoming school year.

He is the son of Mike and Cindy Mulroney, of Fort Dodge.
