Kari Becker, daughter of Brian and Darcy Becker of Fort Dodge, has been named as recipient of a $1,000 Maverick Scholarship from Minnesota State University, Mankato, for the 2011-2012 academic school year.
This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement.
