LAURENS — Laura Bieri and Brett Latham, both of Iowa City, are engaged.
Parents of the couple are Sheldon and Linda Bieri, and Terry and Diane Latham, all of Laurens.
An Aug. 6 wedding is planned.
Both are 2005 graduates of Laurens-Marathon High School and 2009 graduates of the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business with bachelor of business administration degrees in finance.
Bieri is in her second year of law school at the University of Iowa, Iowa City.
Latham is employed with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., Cedar Rapids, as a bank examiner.
