Five local experts will present a program, " Building a New Business in the 21st Century," Jan. 29 for current and potential owners of small businesses.
The free workshop will feature Ross Nemitz, who will talk about marketing; David Bowser, who will present a session on small business accounting; and Steve Hendricks, who will discuss some legal aspects of business. A general overview will be presented by Jim Patton and Lisa Shimkat. The program will be held from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Iowa State Extension Office, 217 S. 25th St., Suite C-12. It is being conducted by ISU Extension, SCORE and the NCI Small Business Development Center.
