EAGLE GROVE - The Ambassadors, a vocal group from Des Moines, will present a concert of sacred music at 7 p.m. Sunday at Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove.

The Ambassadors have been traveling and singing gospel music for more than 30 years. The group has appeared in concert in churches, fairs, school and civic auditoriums, outdoor venues, community activities plus several benefit concerts each year. It has recorded many albums.

An Ambassadors concert includes classical, traditional and southern gospel music.

Ray of Hope, a vocal group from Lutheran Church of Hope in Des Moines, will present its concert of praise and worship at 7 p.m. Monday.

On Tuesday, the praise band Ecclesiastes from Badger Lutheran Church, along with the Rev. Darryl Landsverk, will present the message in word and music.

The theme for these three evenings, all at Evangelical Lutheran, is "The Family of God," and they are open to all families.

Each evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a dialog Bible study presented by the Rev. Chris Lang, of Eagle Grove Evangelical, South Enes in Vincent and Ullensvang Lutheran in Thor, and by the Rev. Rich Taylor of Samuel and Holmes Lutheran churches.

Concerts of praise and worship will follow, and the evening will end with coffee and fellowship at 8:30 p.m.

All three evenings are sponsored by Lutheran Evangelistic Movement, which has presented Bible studies and worship in Eagle Grove since the late 1930s.
