ANNETTE Y. FEHR

Annette Y. Fehr, 51, of Fort Dodge, formerly of West Bend, died Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at the Paula J. Barber Hospice House.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday January 4, 2010 at the Apostolic Christian Church, in West Bend. Burial will be at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery, West Bend. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday January 3, 2010 at the Apostolic Christian Fellowship Center, West Bend and one hour prior to the services at the church. Serving the family is the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home.

Annette is survived by her husband Alfred; son Chad of West Des Moines; daughter Yvonne Fehr of Fort Dodge; and 2 grandchildren Jordan and Zachary Hartig; mother Helen Hansen; brother Erman Hansen of Livermore; sisters, Deb Andringa of Spencer, Diane Sewick of Algona, Marla Teague of Humboldt, and Pam Hansen of Algona. She was preceded in death by her father Carl Hansen and infant sister Virginia.

Annette Y. Hansen was born February 23, 1958 in Algona. She attended schools in Algona. Annette was united in marriage to Alfred Fehr in West Bend at the home of Elmer Fehr on June 22, 1974.

Annette and Alfred farmed in the West Bend area until 1994 when the family moved to Fort Dodge. Besides being a loving homemaker, Annette was employed at McGregor's Furniture for the last 15 years. Her main passion in life was her family, she will be deeply missed.

Memorials may be left in the discretion of the family.
