Carolyn V. Cummings of Litchfield Park passed away December 9, 2009 in Goodyear, AZ. She was born in Rockwell City, Iowa to Wilbert & Katherine Dawson. Carolyn was a registered nurse for fifty years having graduated from Iowa Methodist School of Nursing.
She is survived by her son Ken Rittenhouse and his wife Susan and grandson Clint Rittenhouse. She is preceded in death by her first husband Walter Rittenhouse, daughters Ann and Sue, and late husband Joseph Cummings.
A memorial service will be held Friday December 18, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic
Church 13720 W. Thomas Rd. Avondale, AZ, 85392. Final arrangements entrusted to Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel.
