ERNEST G. ROSENDAHL

OTHO - ERNEST G. ROSENDAHL, 68, died on Mon. Dec. 7, 2009, at the Trinity Regional Medical Center Emergency Room. Funeral services will be held on Fri. Dec. 11 at 10:30 am at Kalo Community Church with Rev. Beryl Vinchattle officiating. Visitation will be on Thurs. from 3 until 6 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery in Ft. Dodge. Larson-Weishaar Funeral Home in Manson is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his daughters Brenda Andrews, Darla Rosendahl, and Tanya (Jim) Swanson all of Ft. Dodge; son Trent (Amber) Rosendahl of Belmond; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Pat.

Ernest G. Rosendahl was born on Nov. 13, 1941, at Knierim, the son of Andrew and Ilo (Billings) Rosendahl. He attended school in Otho, Knierim, and graduated from Manson High School in 1959. He began working at Rosedale Creamery in Ft. Dodge before marrying Patricia Caughy on Dec. 11, 1965, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Knierim. He drove semi until 1979, when he began selling light bulbs and doing sales work for Curtis Industries. He retired in 1996.
