Betty A. Beam, age 64, of Fort Dodge, died Monday, November 30, 2009, in Fort Dodge. Mrs. Beam was born in Denison, Iowa on January 23, 1945. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glen L. Beam; mother, Ruby Nelson; and biological father, Calvin Farrington. She is survived by her son, Shad A. Beam and his wife Beth and her daughter, Amber N. Beam.

Memorial service will be Saturday, December 5 at 10 a.m. at Gunderson Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be Friday, December 4 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge.
