Hindman wins FD Ward 4

Kelly Hindman has won the Ward 4 city council seat with 983 votes to Tom Hemann's 604 votes.

Please don't take the time to comment, because this is my last posted, it's time to return home for the winter. It's a small town in the North Cascades in Washington state. Around 10,000 people with two lane streets both ways into and out of town. The center with trees and a great park to eat when shopping. Great shops, great restaurants, hotels and motels. Every building on main street has a business. surrounded with Mts,ski,hiking, and so many lights at xmas time. This town is so clean but what makes it so clean is the people who care. Their citizens, their council. Fd needs a report on how to do it's city come here. All it takes is people working together and everyone will tell you, three words --its our town. I will be back for the next election, keep taxes low and no more. This was higgins issues lets see it is true.

How reidiculous, you can't be that. She had 1100 voters or so, you stated memebers not me. When you are a memeber of the c of C you have workers, employess,, working for you. I heard one person say, I work for a memeber of the chamber and I can't put your sign in my yard. Many members of C of C live in ward 3. Some times I don't understand myself when I chat with you. Many business would like their employees to vote who could help them later in the business. It's been that way for years. You said it, its is called buy votes. It's not to hard to inform old memeber new members in ward 3 we have a good candidates vote for her. Look at her past record, board of director, VP of community Promotions, C of C ambassador. For most people who are not memebers have no ideal who she was. I'm sure she will be good , but wake up and really who cares this is just my opinion.

So Mongo you are saying there are 1120 members in the C of C? That is the number of voters who voted for Halverson Collins. The PEOPLE elected her. Not the C of C. Or are you too set in your ways that you would think the Chamber could "buy" that many votes? How ridiculous! Please get back on your medication!

I will check back with you in 2 years. The only thing I will be checking on with you is how much growth you have in taxes. Stay well and in good health your city needs every cent they can get out of you. If you can figure out int.(BW) then you have the answer who really won and running the election.

the first part of my post got lost. I said the VOTERS of Ft Dodge decided this election, not the C of C.They may have had their support for some of the winners, but the VOTERS decided who would win. The rest of my post speaks for itself.
