The St. Edmond Development Office has announced the winners of the Partners In Education Awards for 2009. The St. Edmond Partners In Education awards are given annually to those people who encompass the values and goals on which St. Edmond Catholic School was founded. These individuals strive to make St. Edmond a better place for our students by contributing their time and talents and lead by their example.
The St. Edmond Catholic Schools will hold its Partners in Education annual dinner on Saturday.
This year there will be a change in the format of the event. There will be no Mass held prior to the dinner. The dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the St. Edmond High School commons. Following the meal there will be the awards program highlighting and presenting the Spirit of St. Edmond Awards to be held in the Msgr. Kelly Auditorium at Saint Edmond. This year's recipients include:
Alumni - Mike Johnson, 1988
Family - Jim and Mary Lentsch Family
Past parent - Maurice and Denise Flattery
Faculty citation - Don Petherbridge
Superior service - Melanie Vogt
Distinguished service - Tom Chalstrom
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Tickets for the meal are $7 each and can be purchased from the Development Office, 955-6077. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
