Nina J. Linn, 82, of Fort Dodge, died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Careage of Fort Dodge.

Private graveside services will be in West Lawn Cemetery, Lehigh. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family.

Surviving is her husband Dean; son, Larry and his wife Susan of Fort Dodge; daughter, Cynthia Peterson and her husband Walt of Texas; grandson, Jordon Linn of Denver, CO; step-grandchildren, Nicole Zehr and her husband Seth of Eden Prairie, MN, Corey Bogenreiff of Ames; brother, Donald Campidilli of Webster City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Jeannie (Montalti) Campidilli, and her many brothers and sisters.

Nina Josephine Campidilli was born January 29, 1927 in Lehigh. She attended and graduated from Lehigh High School. Following her education she became employed for Tobin Meat Packing Company and later Hormel's for many years before she became a homemaker. On August 23, 1950 she was united in marriage to Dean Linn at the Little Brown Church in Nashua and they established their home in Fort Dodge.

During Iowa's very first Ragbri event, Nina along with her husband Dean and their two children became the first family to ride together across the State.

Nina will always be remembered as a wonderful cook.
