J.E. “BUD” REMSBURG

ROCKWELL CITY - J.E. "Bud" Remsburg 80, formerly of Lohrville, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Trinity Regional Medical Center, Ft. Dodge. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 6, at the United Methodist Church, Rockwell City, with Rev. Marcia Sangel officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Lohrville, with Military Graveside Rites conducted by the VFW Post 1951. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City.

Bud is survived by his wife Betty; his children, Jim (Jan) Remsburg of Manson, Brian Remsburg of Ft. Dodge, Linn Remsburg of Ft. Worth, TX, and Jodie (Steve) Meeker of Mt. Pleasant; 7 grandchildren; 1 step-granddaughter; 3 great-grandchildren; brother Randy (Marlene) Remsburg of Audubon; sisters, Doris (Melvin) Stokes of Lake City, Marilyn Harms of Lake City, and Kay (Edger) Hunt of Lanesboro.
