GILMORE CITY - Frank J. Marchant, 83, of Gilmore City, passed away June 16, 2009 at his home near Gilmore City. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in the chapel of the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt with the Rev. Walden Paige officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Humboldt. Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Marchant is survived by his wife, Donna of Gilmore City; daughters, Connie (Don) Cross of Green Bay, WI, Sheryl (Bob) Courtney of Boonsboro, MD, and Angie (Thomas) Watts of Manhattan, KS; sons, Frank E. (and companion Joni) Marchant of Gilmore City, and Gary (Tammie) Marchant of Gilmore City; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and sisters, LaVonne Lanus of Humboldt, Jeanne (Raymond) Bond of Des Moines, and Betty Ledet of Emmetsburg. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Robert and Bill Marchant.
