WEST BEND - For the 10th consecutive summer, a Gospel Songfest will be held at the Grotto of the Redemption in West Bend.
The June 14 Songfest will be 4 to 7 p.m., full of Christian music, food and fellowship in the Grotto's park in West Bend.
Groups performing include Pure Faith, a duet made up of David Redenius and Stacey Schnuckel; SoundTrack, an Ames-based Christian music group ;and West Bend's Redemption Singers.
The Redemption Singers, of West Bend, are, front row from left, Luan Montag and Angie Helleseth, and back row, from left, Traci Vanderhorst, Diane Streit, Julie Bargman and Deann Bangwart. The group will participate in the 10th annual Gospel Songfest on the ground of the Grotto of the Redemption.
A barbecue grilled by the Knights of Columbus will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Those attending should bring a lawn chair or blanket.
A freewill offering will be taken during the performances. In case of rain, the concert and barbecue will be moved indoors to Sts. Peter and Paul Church, adjacent to the Grotto.
