She married Ron Sturgis on October 21, 1967, in Pocahontas and the couple resided in Brookings, South Dakota, and then in Boston Mass., and Rothwesten, West Germany, while in college and in the U.S. Army. They moved to Manson in 1972 where Nancy was employed for 23 years with the Good Samaritan Center and then as a physical therapy assistant with Rehab Visions and Key Rehab working at Trinity Regional Hospital and Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge. She is survived by her husband, Ron; sons, Jason (Kris) Sturgis, Golden Valley, Minn.; Josh (Sarah) Sturgis, Manson; a daughter, Ashley Sturgis, of Sioux City; three granddaughters and a recently arrived grandson born on March 19; two sisters, Jo (Myron) Rouse, Kansas City, Mo.; Charlene (Lew) Stutsman, Des Moines; her extended Golden Meadows family; and several nieces and nephews.
