CCS hosts pancake breakfast Saturday

The athletic department of Fort Dodge's Community Christian School will host its 27th annual pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday, in the school gymnasium at 3058 10th Ave. N.

The "all-you-can-eat" breakfast will include pancakes, sausages, coffee, milk and juice. Ticket prices are $5 for age 11 through adult, $3 for ages three through 10 and free for children ages two and younger. Most of the food items and utensils are donated from local businesses, highlighted by sausage from Lewright Meats of Eagle Grove.

Proceeds will support the Community Christian School athletic department, which offers interscholastic programs in basketball and cheerleading for grades five through eight. The breakfast is the only athletic fundraiser and helps pay for officials, gym rentals, equipment and uniforms. The support of the many businesses that donate items is greatly appreciated.
