EDWIN E. "ED" PETERS

MALVERN, Ark. - Edwin E. "Ed" Peters, age 77 of Malvern, Arkansas, passed away July 10, 2008, to be with his Lord. He was born August 24, 1930 in Palmer, Iowa to the late William and Annie Peters. He was married to LaVera P. Shultz, who preceded him in death in 2000. Also preceding him in death was his second son Joseph.

He was an avid golfer, United States Air Force Veteran, member of the Brumbelow Creek Hunting Club. He was also a Member of St. Luke Lutheran Church and attended Glen Rose Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Melba Peters of Malvern, AR. Two sons: Jerry Peters of Little Rock, AR. and Jeffery Peters of Elk Hart, IN. A daughter Joy Bostian of Greenville, SC. Two stepchildren, Tricia Neeper and Eugene Clift both of Malvern, AR. Two brothers: Bill and Vernon Peters of Manson, IA. A sister, Adella Labudovich of Chesapeake, VA. 11 grand children, 4 step- grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren.

A Memorial Service celebrating Ed's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday July 13, 2008 at the Glen Rose Baptist Church in Malvern, AR.

Interment will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 10 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery at Victor, IA.
