JAMES “JIM” O’BRION

OSAGE — James O’Brion, 64, of Osage, died Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at MCRHC Hospice Unit in Osage. Jim was born April 8, 1944, at Fort Dodge to Harry and Willetta (Olson) O’Brion. He was raised in Badger and attended Fort Dodge High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1964. On June 12, 1965, he married Norma Rosenquist at Burnside. Jim worked for Gus Glaser and Greenfield Trucking in Fort Dodge. He moved to Osage in 2005.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Osage. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Blossom Hill Cemetery in Badger. There will be a time for lunch and fellowship following services at the church.

Jim is survived by his wife, Norma O’Brion of Osage; his children, Jamie (Harold) Zupon of Coon Rapids, Minn.; Patrick (Janet) O’Brion of Minnetonka, Minn.; Rachel O’Brion of Coon Rapids, Minn.; Kelly (Bill) Carlson of St. Ansgar; seven grandchildren; a brother, Tim (Teri) O’Brion of Milford; a sister, Cheryl (Gary) Warren of Mesa, Ariz.; and his beloved dog, Bailey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Chuck O’Brion; and a sister, Linda Kombrink.

Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage is in charge of arrangements.
