Myrna Grabin, 90, of Fort Dodge, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007 at the Marian Home in Fort Dodge. Memorial services will be held at a later date. The Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge are in charge of local arrangements.

Myrna is survived by her four children, Jane Bell of Fort Dodge; Chris Grabin ( Angie) of Dodge City, Kansas; Natalie Ashenfelter of Fort Dodge; and Nicki Minard (Mark) of Otho; six grandchildren, Kim Larue (Keith) and Larry Bell (Mary) both of Wilmington, N.C.; Christina Whitley of Dodge City, Kansas; Saul Grabin of San Mateo, Calif.; Brenda Grabin of Dodge City, Kansas; and Johna Buhr of Eagle Grove; ten great grandchildren; brother, Bernard (Nick) Natalle of Zellwood, Fla. and a sister, Beverly Bland of Lebanon, Pa. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles C. Grabin in 1971; daughter and son-in-law, David and Joyce Phipps in 1977; a brother, Emil “Bud” Natalle and a sister, Josephine Stille.

Myrna Marie Natalle was born Feb. 8, 1917 in Guthrie County near Yale. On Nov. 28, 1935, she married Charles C. Grabin. Myrna was a good cook who was very particular about her ingredients and the dishes she cooked. She always made sure family and friends had plenty to eat at her table. She also loved animals of all sorts and readily took in strays. Her beloved cat Boo-Boo died earlier this year and she missed him so much. Myrna will be greatly missed by family and friends.
