It is discouraging how quick people are to criticize vs. attempt to understand people and organizations. My thought on the above comment is perhaps libraries do not have the same funding as larger corporations that are able to employ an IT person or department. Often the librarians are their own IT people, and I guarantee most do not have the time or knowledge to run those type of statistics and maintenance. Libraries, however, always welcome volunteers. It's very easy to criticize, nothing is ever perfect. It's harder to look for solutions (or in this case, look at the overall message).
