Perhaps you didnt know, but the violence against women act was a little too rediculous. the things it outlawed are already outlawed, except for the fact that it made calling a woman a bad name (verbal abuse), which most people seem to do to each other when they fight, a more punishable offense for a man. meaning more serious crime. it also made raising your voice a serious crime. other than that its already illegal to be violent to anyone. i thought women wanted equality, not legislated loonacy. ive known people who were jailed for raising their voice, and being called an insulting name... but the women were just as guilty, yet no crime there. this bill is rediculous and a waste of money, and gets some good people in trouble for things that both parties do. if oe gets in trouble for doing these things, both should. simply the law needs to apply equally or not at all.

He voted no because he couldn't see past his own bigotry. The new bill covers LGBT, immigrants, and rights of Native Americans to pursue cases across sovereignities.

He made the talk shows again. He was compared to the two guys that one said women cause their own rapes and the other one who said a womans body shuts down during a rape so they don't get pregnant(they lost their elections). It looks like we have our own bigoted speacial nut case reprsenting us. He thinks women should not have any say about anything concerning them because men will decide their fate. He hates gays and thinks they should be shot on site because their not true humans. This guy is a total bigot and it is hard to believe the people of Iowa votes this guy in to preach his hate.
