To the editor: We understand that the city and the schools need money to operate, but where does it end? Those of us on fixed incomes are having a hard enough time as it is keeping up our property......

Most have empathy with this position. Yet this community is seeing infrastructure investments. More on the books for years to come. My travels around Iowa speaking with individuals of other communities are jealous of what Fort Dodge is accomplishing of late. The AG Park is generating quite the attention. Does that mean we all get to proceed past go and collect 100 dollars with the iron? The iron is no more..... . .

Totally agree. Problem is there are alot of 6 figure income+ that don't cares if you can't afford it. There standard answer is you don't like it move somewhere else.
